Future Podcasts, Observations on Face-To-Face events and Thank You!!
Reading time: 2 – 3 minutes
Hello everyone,
In this post:
- Future podcasts.
- Observations on three recent face-to-face events that I attended.
- And….thank you!!!
For about 3 weeks there will be no podcast. I am traveling for business and fun. However, there is much to podcast about. When I return…
- At least three more podcasts on Value-Based Cared.
- Another look at the future of tradeshows.
- Telehealth now that the pandemic may be ebbing.
- Robotics in MedTech.
- And more…
Three face-to-face events recently occurred that are interesting.
The first was my first face-to-face interview for the podcast with Skender Daerti, CEO, The Clinician Exchange. The second was my first physical attendance at a tradeshow since the beginning of the pandemic. The third was my first face-to-face multi-day team meeting since April 2020.
A couple take aways that many of you have already experienced.
- It was GREAT to see people face-to-face!
- The face-to-face interview was a lot of fun and introduces a new dynamic. I will try to do more.
- The trade show in-person attendance was about 50% of pre-pandemic levels. And, virtual attendance was not that great. Many others have reported 50% attendance at trade shows. BUT, as long as we don’t have a Covid resurgence, I think in-person attendance will continue to climb. It may not get back to pre-pandemic levels but maybe to 80+%. There are a lot of ramifications in all of this. Too much to cover here. But worthy of a podcast or two with experts.
- Face-to-face team meetings set the stage for BETTER virtual collaboration. Sure, we can do a lot virtually, but there is a nuance to relationships that just can’t be equaled without some face-to-face interaction.
Finally, a big thank you for your support. The podcast blew through 52,000 downloads the other day! I will endeavor to continue to bring you relevant content to help position you for success.
Now Go Win Your Week!!
